Bosco Verticale: the Lighting Project by Linea Light Group

The Bosco Verticale is a prestigious project of Boeri Studio that has the goal not to put the man in the center, but to return the latter to contact with the environment, thus placing the artificial and the natural is on the same level.

The first example made of the this project is located in Milan in the area Porta Nuova and is spread in two towers of 80 and 112m, that house in complex of 800 trees (480 trees of the first and second magnitude, 300 smaller size), and 15,000 perennials and/or ground cover and 5,000 shrubs. This vegetation is equivalent to that of 30,000 square meters of forest and undergrowth, concentrated on the 3,000 square metres of settlement and urban area has been so built a runway from the point of view of urban and architectural development of the district.

The innovative bosco was awarded the prestigious International Highrise Award 2014 and was declared the skyscraper the most beautiful and innovative of the world 2015 by the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat.

A work so special that could not be studied in detail and one of these is the lighting, a challenge not from the little that has been cultured from the Linea Light Group. To illuminate the terraces of the private apartments, the Linea Light Group has created a special product: a mini LED projector-high efficiency light source-neutral 4,000 K and driver integrated in the body, black embossed, which is positioned on the inside of the planters outside. These projectors are very small in size and illuminating the bosco verticale with points of light, highlighting the profiles of trees and shrubs that make it so unique in the world and increase considerably the charm.
